When you create an account, make a booking, contact support, apply as a guide, or use our services, we may collect:

B. Authentication Information

When signing in through email, Google, Apple, or other supported providers, we may collect authentication identifiers, email verification status, secure login credentials, and OAuth-related authentication information. Passwords are encrypted or securely handled by authentication providers and are not stored in plain text.

C. Payment Information

Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment providers. VibeGuide does not store complete credit card or debit card details on its own servers. Payment providers may collect billing information, payment status, transaction identifiers, fraud prevention information, and refund and authorization details.

D. Guide Verification Information

Guides may be required to provide government-issued identification, tourist guide license information, verification photos, and payment information. This information is collected solely for identity verification, legal compliance, fraud prevention, operational security, and payment processing.

E. Location Information

With your permission, VibeGuide may collect approximate or precise location information to match travelers with nearby guides, enable instant experiences, improve booking coordination, support operational safety features, and facilitate live experiences. Background location access may be used only for guides who voluntarily activate availability features. Users may manage location permissions through their device settings at any time.

F. Device & Technical Information

We may automatically collect device type, operating system, IP address, browser type, app version, language settings, device identifiers, push notification tokens, crash reports, diagnostic information, and usage and interaction data.

G. Communications & User Content

We may collect information shared through in-app messages, customer support conversations, reviews and ratings, feedback submissions, and booking-related communications.

5. Guides & Independent Service Providers

VibeGuide operates as a digital marketplace and coordination platform. Guides, tour providers, and experience providers available through VibeGuide may operate as independent service providers and are responsible for their own services, conduct, and legal obligations. In order to facilitate bookings and experiences, certain information may be shared with assigned guides or providers, including traveler first name, booking information, meeting details, language preferences, necessary contact information, and tour-related preferences where relevant. Providers are expected to process information responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.

6. VibeSquad & Shared Experiences

For shared group experiences such as VibeSquad, limited profile information such as first name and profile photo may be visible to other participants within the same group experience. This visibility is limited to participants involved in that specific experience. Information is not publicly displayed outside the relevant booking or group.

7. Trip Sharing Features

If you use trip-sharing features, VibeGuide may generate temporary links allowing selected recipients to view limited live trip information during an active experience. These links expire automatically after the experience ends, may be revoked at any time, and are intended solely for safety and coordination purposes.

8. Analytics, Cookies & Tracking Technologies

VibeGuide may use cookies, SDKs, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep users logged in, improve platform performance, analyze aggregated usage trends, monitor crashes and technical issues, improve operational reliability, detect fraud and abuse, and remember preferences and settings. Technologies and providers may include Firebase, Google Analytics, crash reporting services, performance monitoring tools, and secure hosting and infrastructure providers. Users may manage cookies and tracking preferences through browser or device settings. Some features may not function properly if certain technologies are disabled.

Users may request deletion of their account and personal information through in-app account deletion tools where available, the account deletion page, or by contacting privacy@vibeguideapp.com. Depending on applicable laws, users may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent, restrict certain processing, object to certain uses of data, and request data portability.

Some information may be retained where legally required, including records related to tax and accounting obligations, fraud prevention, payment disputes and chargebacks, safety investigations, and regulatory compliance. Residual backup copies may remain temporarily for security and operational continuity purposes.
